I write to you today to kindly request a donation for Cannoli’s second surgery. As many of you already know, Cannoli has been struggling with abscesses along the bottom of his right ear and down to the center of his jaw. He had one surgery last August that seemed to help him a lot at first, but unfortunately the abscesses came back and are much more intense this time around. His worst one is the size of a golf ball on his throat. It breaks my heart thinking about the pain he must be dealing with daily. I would get him another surgery if I could afford to, but I do not have the funds myself right now. The first surgery was $1400. I am asking for $2,000 this time only because I believe the surgery will be more invasive and the recovery will most likely require a wider variety of medicines this time. I am unable to get an accurate estimate until I am able to get him to be seen. Where I live, the vet visit alone without surgery or medication is $250.
