Canesha has spent 20 years in prison and was found suitable for parole in May. She has spent her time in prison dedicated to her rehabilitation, helping others through her many leadership roles, and getting her associates and bachelors degrees. Canesha is returning to Los Angeles. There, she is looking forward to joining faith communities, continuing to attend programs, and pursuing job opportunities. She plans to spend her time continuing to work on herself and providing mentorship to youth in her community. And she hopes to work toward securing her master's degree soon!

Transitioning to life in Los Angeles will be difficult, especially given the very high cost of living, and she is looking for support from the community through donations for necessities and living expenses. Your help will go a long way in helping her readjust to the outside world.
