<div>Calvin recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy when his beloved service dog, Ophelia (“FiFi”), was fatally shot during an incident involving a Cobb County Sheriff’s deputy who was attempting to serve a warrant for an individual who did not live at Calvin’s home.

<div>FiFi was not simply a pet. She was a professionally trained service dog who helped Calvin navigate each day with greater safety, confidence, and independence. She was his anchor through life’s challenges, always by his side, offering comfort, security, and unconditional love.

<div>Those who know Calvin know the extraordinary bond he shared with FiFi. She wasn’t just part of his life—she made it possible for him to live it more fully. Today, Calvin is grieving the devastating loss of his faithful partner while facing the overwhelming reality of life without the service dog he depended on every day.

<div>Replacing a trained service dog is an expensive and lengthy process, often costing tens of thousands of dollars, and no amount of money can replace the unique bond they shared.
