<div>On Monday, June 24, 2024, Callum Cumming (33) was tragically killed when his truck was struck by a freight train at a marked crossing on a private laneway near Lancaster, Ontario. No one else was in the truck, but he leaves behind three little children. Callum was a generous rural entrepreneur who loved the outdoors and serving the community, and who was the main breadwinner of the family.

<div>*UPDATE: The value of the fundraising goal has been adjusted from $50k to reflect Callum not having life insurance.

<div>Please consider donating towards providing for the children's future.

<div>I, Anton Freundorfer, Callum's brother-in-law, have set this up in discussion with and on behalf of the family for the benefit of the kids.

<div>FYI: from the GoFundMe Help Center site:
</div>
<div>"Donations made to a personal GoFundMe fundraiser, rather than a charity fundraiser, are generally considered to be personal gifts and aren’t guaranteed to be tax-deductible. But, you can always check with a tax professional to be sure. You won’t be issued a tax receipt from our company."
