Christina needs help with getting Calliope supported with a behavioral/mental health program which initially would cost $1500 per DAY. We are trying to find grants, scholarships and any other programs to help cover costs but it will still be too much for Christina to carry on her own. Calliope is very loved and her mother desperately wants her back home with her. If you are able to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated.
If you are not at a place where you can help monetarily please pray for Calliope’s safe return, her road for healing & recovery, and for her family. Please share! Any amount helps.
A note from Christina: Thank you to everyone who has partnered with me to help find Calliope. The goal was to make sure she was found safe and help put her in a program that could take her (and us) on a journey of healing and counseling. Unfortunately I could not find a place fast enough and she left again. We have spoken and she knows I will do whatever I can to make sure she is safe and healthy.
Although, I am grateful that she is not addicted to drugs or suicidal, this has prevented her from meeting the criteria for admission to many behavioral and mental health facilities/programs. My fear is that she will start to these things if I can’t get her help quick enough.
Luckily and by the grace of God we are still healthy and COVID free while searching for her and through obtaining help; but, the pandemic has also caused many mental health facilities to be at max capacity and there are no availability slots for admission. After calling about 30-places, I have come to the conclusion that a boarding school that specializes in behavioral issues and counseling is the best place for her. This comes at a high cost unfortunately (initial estimates range from $3500-$8,000 a month), and I cannot provide this on my own.
Your prayers, donations, words of encouragement, meals, time spent with Noah are all so appreciated. The smallest and simplest gestures can go a very long way and give someone strength to keep going one more day. So many of you have been a lifeline through this. Thank you!!!!
There have been some concerns about me sharing too much about my personal life which typically I don’t do on social media. I have shared this because I realized I could not do this alone AND I knew I could count on the people in my life for encouragement, advice, and resources... And that’s exactly what I have received. Had I not shared this, I would still be going through this alone. It's because of you, I don’t feel alone anymore.
If you are in a position to help financially, please donate so we can get Calliope the help she needs, back with our family, and back on track with her life a head of her. She is not a lost cause. She is a very talented and artsy young lady with so much potential. With your support, we can help get her up and going in life again.
If you are not able to contribute financially, I ask that you PLEASE share this with everyone you know! I really need help getting the word out to as many people as possible. Again, thank you so much for all your support. ~Christina
