Hi! My name is Jamie McCandless and I am the proud mother of a fantastically wonderful and super talented 14-year-old named Caleb. From a young age, Caleb has loved singing and music. When he was in the 5th grade, Caleb auditioned for a spot in the Birmingham Boys Choir... and made it! He was thrilled about this opportunity, and never in a million years would I or he have imagined all the places we have visited and the amazing people we have met along the way. God is so good! But, we aren’t stopping there... His choir teacher at Oak Mountain Middle School asked him to audition for the National Choir, which is handpicked by 75 different judges around the U.S., and I am super thrilled and extremely proud to announce to everyone that he made it!! The opportunities are endless when it comes to your dreams... Never give up!

With that said, ACDA (American Choir Directors Association) has asked Caleb to join them, along with several honor choirs, to perform in Dallas, Texas, at their annual conference this March. This is a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime experience that many don’t get. Today, I am desperately seeking prayers and the help of friends and family to help me fund a portion of this opportunity for Caleb. I am responsible for airline tickets, car rental, the hotel, food, etc. I currently have about half of what he needs to be able to participate.
