As a Certified Nursing Assistant, She has spent her career giving compassionate care to our most vulnerable community members. She's been a steady hand for the elderly, a comforting presence for those in recovery, and a source of strength for families in crisis. Now, in a cruel turn of events, Caitlin has been faced with a life-altering medical challenge and is the one who needs our support.

<div>The Diagnosis: From caregiver to patient
</div>
<div>Recently, Caitlin was diagnosed with peroneal neuropathy, formerly known as "slimmer's paralysis". This condition, which can occur after rapid and significant weight loss, has led to severe weakness and paralysis in her lower legs, resulting in a condition called "foot drop". The damage to the peroneal nerve has stolen her ability to walk and stand and with it, the physically demanding career she dedicated her life to.

<div>The irony is heartbreaking. Caitlin a CNA, who has tirelessly lifted and assisted patients for years, can no longer stand on her own. She has gone from being an essential medical provider to relying on others for basic mobility.

<div>The Impact: More than just a job loss
</div>
<div>This diagnosis has impacted every aspect of Ms. Bradeen's life Beyond the loss of their profession, they are now facing a long and difficult road to recovery. The physical and emotional toll is immense. While the prognosis for peroneal neuropathy can be positive with timely treatment, a full recovery requires intensive and costly intervention.

<div>The medical expenses and loss of income have created a crushing financial burden for Ms. Bradeen and her family. The funds raised will directly cover:

<div>Specialized medical equipment: Including ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) to provide foot stability and other mobility aids.
</div>
<div>Rehabilitation therapy: Ongoing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and gait training are essential for maximizing the chance of a full recovery.

<div>Medical costs: Uncovered medical bills, nerve conduction studies (EMG), and doctor appointments.
</div>
<div>Household modifications: Ramps and grab bars are necessary to make her home accessible and safe.

<div>Childcare: Ms. Bradeen has two children Anna and a son chase who also requires special needs. Ms.Bradeen devotes her life to these children and they are her entire heart so it is especially difficult when she now has to continue to raise both children as a disabled single mother.
