<div>Bullshitopedia: The Counter-Encyclopedia for Truth and Evidence
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lies and deceptions have become common currency, serving as a powerful force to degrade community strength and erode our society.
</div>
<div>While trustworthy information gets buried or fragmented across thousands of isolated fact-checkers, official sites, and short news cycles, bad actors operate at scale. Fact-checking institutions are currently facing an unprecedented financial and operational crisis—with dozens of projects shutting down globally while disinformation accelerates.
</div>
<div>Bullshitopedia is built to turn the tide through collective action.
</div>

</div>
<div>What is Bullshitopedia?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is a crowdsourced, public-interest counter-encyclopedia. Where traditional encyclopedias document what is known to be true, Bullshitopedia documents what was falsely claimed—and proves it.
</div>
<div>Powered by a community of contributors dedicated to accuracy, we identify, track, and debunk deceptive, false, misleading, and unsupported claims (past and present), then guide people directly to the strongest available evidence. Visitors can instantly see:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Exactly what was claimed.
</div>
<div>Why the claim fails.
</div>
<div>Where the historical or scientific record was set straight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How We Work
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For anyone who encounters a questionable claim, Bullshitopedia acts as a collaborative evidence-navigation service. Through a transparent, community-driven revision history, we connect a claim to its debunk and then to the primary evidence—all in one durable, citable place, without duplicating the original reporting we point to.
