Hello, dance enthusiasts and community supporters!

We are the Baltimore Salsa Dance Company (BSDC) and the BSDC Latin, African, and Cultural Dance Institute, a vibrant community dedicated to spreading the joy of dance and cultural appreciation. Our mission is to enrich lives through dance, art, music, and performing arts, offering a diverse range of classes and programs that celebrate cultural heritage.

**Why We Need Your Help:**

Due to constant breakdowns and repairs of the air conditioning and heating units, flooring issues, and other irreconcilable differences with our current landlord, we are excited to announce our plans to relocate to a new facility in Glen Burnie, MD. This move will allow us to enhance our offerings, host more events, and provide an even better experience for our students and community.

We aim to raise $10,000 to cover essential renovations and moving expenses to ensure our new home is welcoming and fully equipped for all our dance and cultural programs.

**How Your Contribution Helps:**

- **Renovations:** We need to take down two walls to create a dance floor space and remove a counter, among other necessary changes.

- **Enhanced Facilities:** Solve ongoing issues with air-conditioning, heating systems, and flooring.

- **Strategic Location:** Our new location is conveniently situated on a local bus line with plenty of parking, offering easy access with elevator and stair access on both sides.

- **Business Environment:** Located inside a shopping center, surrounded by complementary businesses like a counseling center, hair salon, tattoo shop, barbershop, cleaners, dentist office, driving school, sub shop, and a popular bar with billiards, offering potential for increased foot traffic and partnerships.

- **Program Expansion:** Our new location supports the introduction of new programs and classes, such as wellness-focused dance and integration of art and music.

- **Additional Amenities:** Enjoy exciting amenities such as showers, a sauna, steam bath, massage room, and an audio recording studio.

- **Improved Accessibility:** Opportunities for plenty of signage and better GPS directions, eliminating confusion that students faced at the current location.
