Hello. I'm reaching out in an attempt to help Bri, who I like to refer to as my "almost daughter" since she's my son's girlfriend. Please allow me to give you a little back story to fully understand their situation.

Bri & Darion (my son) have been working together so incredibly hard to improve their lives. They've both been through really tough times, with Bri previously escaping a domestic violence situation that nearly cost her son his life & Darion struggling with addiction after multiple knee surgeries. They'd both found themselves homeless, jobless, beaten down & hopeless, but they've pulled themselves out of all of that! They've finally got a home, multiple jobs & security they haven't had in so long.

A few days ago, in a freak accident at a park, Bri fell & broke her leg badly. She broke multiple bones, one bone in multiple places, and tore her ligaments. She's going to require at least one surgery & a lot of physical therapy. It's going to be a long road to recovery for her & she really needs some support right now. She will be unable to work for quite a while. With them just barely getting on their feet, they have no savings & Bri hasn't been at either of her jobs long enough to qualify for FMLA or unemployment. I'm doing what I can to help them, but they're going to need more than just my help. Anything would help them at this point. If you can donate here, that would be wonderful.
