Since getting sober, Brie has continued to struggle with serious medical issues, including pancreatitis, which have made her path even more challenging. Despite these obstacles, she has faced each new medical challenge with courage and hope for the future.

The pain and symptoms have become so severe that she was recently forced to resign from her job in behavioral health, a role she loved and where she helped others on their own journeys. With her surgery approaching, Brie is unable to work and is at risk of losing her safe place in sober living. The funds raised will go directly toward covering her rent at sober living, as well as essential living expenses like food, hygiene items, and transportation to medical appointments when other options are unreliable.
