Support Brenda’s eye surgery

If you found yourself on this page and are able to contribute in any way, it would be so greatly appreciated by my mother (Brenda Asher) and our family!   I would like to ease the burden financially as much as I could for her & with your help I think we can make it happen!

My mom was born with a rare case of Aniridia, which is the absence of the iris in both eyes.  It will cause her to go blind if she does not get it corrected.  The only way to correct it is by getting an Iris Implant in both eyes.  This is not a cosmetic surgery, it's the process she had to undergo to help save her vision.

This surgery is rare only a few locations in the U.S. offer this and for a hefty price.  It's denied by insurance as only a few hundred cases have been done & FDA has not approved it yet. She is expected to pay atleast $20,000 for the Iris Implants ($10,000 per eye) and an additional $5,000 (per eye) for cataracts and lens.
