Greetings friends and family, as many of you may know I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer to the bones. I started a breast cancer organization in 2008 to honor my mom, but I never focused on it until now. My story started in 1994 when my mom was diagnosed with same disease. With help from you all I will able be to start my journey on helping the community thrive. We will provide education, support services, and provide integrative therapy to those effected in underserved communities.
In 2020, it's estimated that about 30% of newly diagnosed cancers in women will be breast cancers. In women under 45, breast cancer is more common in Black women than white women. Overall, Black women are more likely to die of breast cancer. White women have more cases but black women have a higher death rate...WHY? Many of us has been affected someway by this horrible disease, whether it's you or a loved one. Help me help us!
