<div>Hi, my name is Brandon Baugh, but most people know me as Phat. I'm a 30-year-old father of 3, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your help during the toughest time of my life.

<div>In January 2025, I lost my beloved grandmother, “Goose.” Her sudden passing sent me into a deep depression, but I made her a promise before she passed: to take care of my health — something I had been putting off for years.

<div>Over 9 years ago, a small boil-like mass formed on my left butt cheek. It kept growing over time, and two years ago, I finally went to the hospital. Doctors told me they couldn’t do anything unless it changed or caused pain. I didn’t have insurance and couldn’t afford further care.

<div>After Grandma Goose passed, the mass began to hurt, swell, and develop sores. I remembered my promise to her and went to the ER on February 9th. Bloodwork and a CT scan were done. The doctor said they were concerned and told me to follow up with a specialist.

<div>I paid $600 out of pocket for visits that ended in shocking news. I waited for the results, praying for good news, but I was told the mass contained cancer cells and I needed immediate surgery.

<div><strong>The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2025.</strong> It will involve removing the mass, inserting a drainage tube for 2–3 weeks, and performing genetic testing to determine the next steps in my treatment. I’ll receive the test results five to seven days after the operation.
