<div>I know these are uncertain economic times, and many of us are feeling the weight of our own challenges. Yet, many of us are still blessed and able to help those in greatest need. My friend Stephen Thomas, whom I affectionately call Bo, is in need of our help. Below, I have provided details about his long battle with vision loss, kidney failure, and unemployment.

<div>With a spirit of generosity in mind, I’m reaching out today with hope for someone who truly needs our support. Bo has faced unimaginable challenges over the past several years. Since his kidneys began to fail in 2017, he has endured countless doctor visits, exhausting dialysis sessions, and the emotional toll that comes with chronic illness. To add to his struggles, his sight has also deteriorated, making everyday tasks even more daunting. As I mentioned earlier, he is also unemployed.

<div>However, there is a glimmer of hope. Recently, Bo received the incredible gift of a healthy kidney transplant in New Orleans. This life-changing procedure offers him a chance to reclaim his health and enjoy life again. Nevertheless, the recovery period from this type of surgery can be lengthy and requires consistent medical care, follow-up appointments, and support that he currently lacks.

<div>Unfortunately, due to various circumstances, including financial constraints, he doesn’t have the necessary support to help him get to those crucial appointments or provide for his basic essential needs. This is where we, as a community, can step in. I am asking for your generosity to help him raise the funds needed to cover transportation costs, unforeseen medical expenses, and other needs that may arise during this critical time.
