<div>Blade has always pushed the limits in pursuit of his passion, but the road hasn’t been easy. His first major injury happened while throwing a backflip in California, resulting in a broken back, fractured ribs, and a shattered jaw that had to be wired shut for eight long weeks. During that time, Blade was unable to work or ride—two things that mean everything to him. After months of recovery, he was finally healthy enough to ride again, only to suffer another devastating setback while practicing on a new airbag setup. A ramp that wasn’t properly aligned caused a crash that left him with a broken hand, a torn bicep, dislocated shoulder and a torn rotator cuff—just one week before his show at the Preston Derby. On top of being sidelined again and facing at least five more weeks with pins in his hand, Blade was hit with another blow: his insurance denied all of his emergency room visits, leaving him with over $150,000 in uncovered medical bills. With no way to work for months, any support to help cover these overwhelming costs and keep his dream moving forward would mean the world.
