Hi, my name is Bishop David A. Johnson and I live in Suffolk, Virginia.

I am legally blind - for 6 years now - and I am seeking financial assistance to help me get to a referral doctor on the Westcoast for a second medical opinion for blindness.

A quick background story regarding my blindness.

I became blind when I had suffered from a stroke and was given too much steroids in a hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia. I woke up blind after the stroke, October 6, 2018. I've been to other doctors in the Chesapeake, Tidewater area and also with other eye specialists at a hospital in Durham, North Carolina, but to no avail.

I have an appointment scheduled with another eye specialist on January 28, 2025 in California. I'm seeking your financial help for funds for me of 8 weeks or more to pay for my transportation and lodging while I'm under going testings in the Kern County / Los Angeles area.
