Binah, a young woman in the Pico Robertson Jewish community, is recovering from a very severe car accident. She has no source of income, as she cannot work due to her current health conditions. Her parents are deceased and she has no siblings, so her friends are looking for donations to help her with financial assistance.
Binah was on her way home when a car swerved into hers. She hit a guard rail which sent her vehicle into the air. It flipped several times and landed on the roof. Bina sustained a serious T9 spinal cord injury, serious brain injury, collapsed left lung, fractured clavicle & humerus, and had shrapnel trapped inside her body from car debris. Bina recently got out of hospitalization for pneumonia and is now in a skilled nursing facility receiving care and oxygen 24/7.
Binah is vibrant, intelligent and motivated with many hopes and dreams. She is eager to recover and get back to being herself again. Any contribution that you are able to make will go towards her living expenses. With the raised funds, we will set her up with a monthly stipend (over the next 18 months), so that she can focus on her physical/medical recovery and educational vocational retraining.
