Three-year-old Billy Jackson should still have his mother. Instead, Billy is now growing up in the shadow of an unimaginable tragedy. His mother, Ashley Jackson of Casper, Wyoming, was taken from this world through domestic violence at the hands of the man who should have protected their family: Billy’s own father. 
 
 
 Ashley and Billy were failed long before this tragedy ever reached its final chapter. They were failed by people who saw warning signs and stayed silent. Failed by those who ignored the voices of people who did speak up. Failed by systems that moved too slowly — or not at all. Failed by individuals who chose comfort over intervention. Failed by those who had opportunities to protect a vulnerable mother and child and did not act. 
 
 
 Now, in the aftermath of that failure, Billy’s grandmother, Shannon, has stepped forward to fight for what remains of Ashley’s legacy: Billy’s safety, stability, and future. That fight is not theoretical. It is happening right now. Shannon is now facing the painful and expensive legal battle of protecting Billy from the same dysfunctional and abusive environment that failed him and his mother in the first place. She is fighting to ensure Billy is raised in a home built on love, protection, accountability, and healing — not chaos, manipulation, or fear. 
 
 
 No grandmother should ever have to bury her daughter while simultaneously fighting for custody of her grandson. Yet here she stands, refusing to let Billy become another forgotten victim of domestic violence. Guns4Good is asking our community to stand beside Billy and Shannon in this fight. Every dollar donated will go directly toward securing Billy’s future: supporting the legal efforts necessary to protect him, helping provide long-term stability and care, and ensuring Ashley’s son is surrounded by people committed to loving and protecting him the way she desperately wanted. 
 
 
 This is bigger than one family. This is about refusing to look away from domestic violence. Refusing to abandon children left behind by it. Refusing to allow silence, excuses, and dysfunction to win again.
