Hello all, my name is Billie and I’m a single mom of two wonderful children (a 5-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy). Recently, I was removed from my work contract due to injury that happened on April 7,2024, which they are refusing to help me with. The company removed me from my contract on Oct 7, 2024, at 7 am and said I would be put into another position, which never happened. Since then, I’ve come out of pocket for my medical bills and haven’t been able to pay my rent. I’m now two months behind and am facing eviction. I received my eviction summons the day before Thanksgiving and have court on the 18th. I’m the type that hates asking for help, but this has taken a toll on my mental health. I don’t know what else to do. I have reached out to multiple businesses that do rental assistance, and there’s no funding, and Section 8 has a LONG wait list. Anything helps.
