Betty was recently given a diagnosis of renal cancer. She is supposed to have partial nephrectomy and will require several weeks afterwards to recover.

Betty has been our Hospitalist nurse for many years and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that she has become a friend to many of us. On many occasions she will often go above and beyond her duties to help us.

No doubt this would put a strain on anyone. So if her fight is something you would want to contribute towards, I know Betty would appreciate you so very much. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
