 Beth, Mick’s daughter, is facing a long and difficult recovery after a devastating boating accident at Pontiac Lake. While swimming near a sandbar, Beth was struck from behind by a speedboat and seriously injured. She suffered multiple broken ribs, a cracked vertebra, a bruised lung, and a bruised liver, and was rushed by ambulance to the ICU. In the middle of terrible pain and shock, Beth and her family have been holding on to gratitude that her injuries were not even worse. Still, this trauma has changed life in an instant, and the road ahead will take time, strength, and support as Beth works toward healing and regaining her independence.

 The funds raised will help ease the many burdens this accident has created, including medical bills, rehabilitation, lost wages during recovery, transportation, household expenses, and other unexpected costs that come with such a serious injury. Beth is working hard to recover, but the physical, emotional, and financial impact has been overwhelming for her and for those who love her. Beth’s family is asking friends, family, and anyone moved by her story to consider helping in any way they can. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
