So many of you have reached out about how you can support my home country, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, that I've decided to launch my very first Go Fund Me.

Two weeks ago, Hurricane Beryl devastated much of the Caribbean, including several Grenadines Islands. My family is from the Grenadines island of Bequia (pronounced Beck-Way) and I am currently here with my family visiting my parents in the wake of the hurricane.

My family is mostly fine. But there are many, many others in Bequia who are not. Many people have lost their entire homes in the Hurricane and have no means of rebuilding. Even securing the basics now of food and shelter is an insurmountable challenge for many. Bequia is a beautiful place as you can see from the photos I've posted but for those already poor and struggling, Hurricane Beryl has served a devastating blow. And, in true cruel irony, the poorer families have been hit the hardest because many of their homes were less stable to begin with.

I have set an initial goal of $5,000. Any amount you can donate, even a single dollar, will be put to good use for local Bequiarians who are in need.
