<div>On behalf of the NYU Wrestling Team and everyone who knows and loves him, we’re starting this fundraiser for our dear friend Benny Bautista.

<div>Recently, Benny was diagnosed with Grade 3 Oligodendroglioma, a rare and aggressive malignant brain tumor. He has already undergone extensive surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. However, the road ahead is long, and the financial burden of treatment is overwhelming. Between medical bills, travel for specialized care, and lost income, Benny and his family need our help now more than ever.

<div>Cancer treatment is incredibly costly, and Benny’s journey has only just begun. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, all while balancing the emotional and physical challenges of recovery. In addition to medical treatments, the family is facing mounting expenses, including: travel costs for specialized care, time off work for both Benny and his family, daily living expenses, and more.

<div>Anyone who knows Benny would describe him as one of the most selfless, kind-hearted people they’ve ever met. As a captain of the NYU Wrestling Team, Benny has always been a leader both on and off the mat.

<div>But his impact goes far beyond wrestling. Benny is an exceptional student, a loving son and brother, and an incredible friend to many. He’s the kind of person who brings people together, always offering his support with a smile on his face, no matter what life throws his way.
