Benito Basquez was a devoted husband to Irene, a loving father to Nathaniel and Fabian, and a proud grandfather to Dominic. I had the privilege of meeting Benito and Irene through work, and from that moment on, we became inseparable. Our kids grew up together, and we created countless memories—whether it was cheering at Dallas Cowboys games, singing karaoke, or playing cornhole. Benito was always the life of the party, and his good-natured, gullible spirit brought so much laughter and joy to everyone around him.

His family meant everything to him, and he touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his kindness and warmth. Benito's passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his loved ones, and they are now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye while managing the unexpected costs that come with funeral arrangements. Unfortunately, Benito did not have life insurance, and his family is struggling to cover the expenses needed to honor his memory. The financial burden of funeral costs has added to their grief, making this time even more challenging.

By coming together as a community, we can help ease some of this burden and allow Benito's family to focus on remembering and celebrating his life. All funds raised will go directly toward Benito's funeral expenses, helping his family give him the farewell he deserves. On behalf of Irene, Nathaniel, Fabian, and Dominic, thank you for any support you can offer—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to Benito's family during this difficult time.
