My name is Bekkah and I’m raising $3,000 to hire a lawyer to fight for custody of my son, Marlowe. I’ve been out of a toxic relationship with his dad for over two years. We were doing 50/50 custody until recently, when he took Marlowe and now refuses to give him back. Because of Kentucky law, he’s allowed to do this without a court order, and I can’t get my son back without going to court. I found a lawyer who requires a $2,500 retainer just to get started.
