<div>Hey everyone its Beaver here. I wanted to update those that we love . As some may know on April 25 at a skatepark demo in Arizona I dislocated my knee resulting in a devastating injury that completely tore the ACL, PCL, MCL, and meniscus off the bone. I’m currently preparing for: a major multi-ligament knee reconstruction.

<div>We were hoping to avoid surgery and utilize regenerative modalities however the alignment of my bones around the joint is out of place and meniscus is outside the joint.  This surgery is far more complex because of the severity of the damage, I’ve chosen to work with a highly specialized orthopedic surgeon in San Jose Dr. Masi who focuses on advanced multi-ligament reconstruction and regenerative medicine.

<div>My goal is not simply to get through surgery. I believe God has given our bodies the amazing ability to heal and I want to give my body every possible advantage to heal fully, rebuild strong, and create the best possible long-term outcome. To get back to pushing the limits of skateboarding through my unique approach and inspiring all who see my journey. Alongside surgery, I’ll be pursuing a comprehensive recovery approach that includes:

<div>Skateboarding has been a major part of my life and purpose. It has given me opportunities to inspire others, build meaningful relationships, and share my faith and hope found in Jesus Christ. This journey is about more than returning to sport. It’s about restoring my ability to walk confidently, train hard, create meaningful work, and continue encouraging others to pursue their God-given calling.

By sharing what I learn along the way, I hope to encourage others to take an informed and proactive approach to their own recovery journey and not just submit to a negative report but dare to align their actions with their faith to get a beautiful outcome.
