My name is Ali. Last year I was introduced to The TRANS PROGRAM, while looking for safe spaces in Mississippi, for my trans teen daughter.

We have been so incredibly lucky to have found it. Bea has found a community for herself here, and so have I.

I now host a monthly teen night for ages 13 to 20 - at my home - for The TRANS Program.

For our December teen holiday party, I’d like to supply a gingerbread kit for all attendees. I am planning for 25.

Gingerbread kits are approximately $15 to $25

(and while The TRANS Program has some funds for the events, the nonprofit is still in its infancy.) So, the cost of the gingerbread houses alone, already devours the budget. I’m looking to gather $300 in donations.
