I am a Sergeant with our local police department, and I am raising funds to improve the lives of shelter pets, providing them with better care and a safer, more comfortable environment while they wait for their forever homes.

Help Lift Shelter Pets to a Better Life!

Imagine spending every day on a cold, hard floor—no place to rest comfortably, no safe space to call your own. For many shelter pets, this is their reality. But we can change that.

We’re raising funds to provide 100 durable, elevated beds for the shelter animals at Broward County Animal Control (BCAC), giving them a more comfortable and secure environment during their stay. These elevated beds will help reduce stress, promote healthier joints, and provide a sense of comfort and safety that every animal deserves.

These aren’t just ordinary pet beds. We’re purchasing Kuranda Silver Chew Proof Aluminum Dog Beds (40x25) in Royal Blue Heavy Duty Vinyl, designed to stand up to the wear and tear of a busy shelter environment. They are durable, easy to clean, and provide pets with a much-needed rest that will help improve their chances of adoption. Each bed costs $150, and we need to raise $16,000 to cover the total cost, including tax and delivery.

While these beds may cost more than ordinary ones, they are an investment in the well-being of the animals. These high-quality beds are built to last, ensuring that the shelter pets have a consistent, comfortable place to rest, which reduces their stress and increases their chances of thriving during their stay.

I personally will handle the purchase, assembly, and delivery of each bed to BCAC, ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly toward providing comfort for the pets.
