<div>My name is Barbara, and this is the hardest thing l've ever had to write.

</div>

<div>A short time ago, I heard the words no woman ever wants to hear:

</div>

<div>"You have triple-negative breast cancer."

</div>

<div>The world around me went silent... and then everything inside me began to shake.

</div>

<div>I started chemotherapy with courage on the outside and fear on the inside. Every treatment day, I whisper to myself, "Lord, help me make it through today." My body is tired, my hair is gone, and there are days I barely recognize the woman in the mirror

</div>

<div>—but my spirit is still fighting. I refuse to give up.

</div>

<div>But in the middle of battling for my life... life struck again.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My husband, George-my protector, my best friend, the man who holds my hand at every appointment-lost his job. And the medical coverage that was keeping us afloat disappeared overnight. Just like that.

</div>

<div>Two retirees.

</div>

<div>George, 70.

</div>

<div>Me, 65.

</div>

<div>Trying to fight cancer with nothing but prayer, courage, and whatever strength we can gather each morning.

</div>

<div>Now, every time I open the mailbox, my heart drops. I hold those envelopes like they're made of fire, because I know inside may be another bill we can't pay. I pray over them before I open them. I breathe slow to keep the panic down. And some nights... I cry quietly so George won't hear me.

</div>

<div>Cancer already steals so much.

</div>

<div>But fear of losing everything on top of it?

</div>

<div>That steals your sleep.

</div>

<div>Your breath.

</div>

<div>Your peace.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I never imagined I'd be here-asking for help.

</div>

<div>I've always been the one who gives, the one who serves, the one who helps others stand on their feet. But now... it's me who needs a hand to hold.

</div>

<div>Your support will help with:

</div>

<div>• Mounting medical bills from chemotherapy and treatment

</div>

<div>• Medications that insurance no longer covers

</div>

<div>• Transportation, scans, labs, and follow-ups

</div>

<div>• Everyday living costs while we rebuild stability

</div>

<div>• The painful gap created when our insurance disappeared mid-treatment

</div>

<div>But more than anything... your help gives me the strength to breathe again.

</div>

<div>To rest without worrying.

</div>

<div>To heal without fear.

</div>

<div>To believe that I am not fighting this battle alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To rest without worrying.

</div>

<div>To heal without fear.

</div>

<div>To believe that I am not fighting this battle alone.

</div>

<div>Here's the emotional truth:

</div>

<div>I want to live.

</div>

<div>I want to survive this.

</div>

<div>I want to grow old with my husband.

</div>

<div>And right now... I need help to keep fighting.

</div>

<div>If you can give, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

</div>

<div>If you can share this, thank you.

</div>

<div>If you can pray for us, please do-your prayers are part of my strength.

</div>

<div>Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for standing with me.

</div>

<div>And thank you for giving me a little more hope, one day at a time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With love and gratitude,

</div>

<div> Barbara &amp; George

</div>

<div><br />

</div>
