<div>In December 2024, Barbara was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a devastating disease with no cure. The illness has been progressing, and she is now wheelchair-bound and in need of increasing daily care.

With the loss of income and the growing medical and caregiving expenses, their family is facing an overwhelming financial burden. <strong>This GoFundMe has been created to help cover Barbara’s medical costs and help support their household during this incredibly difficult time.</strong>

<div>Barbara is a devoted mother, a dedicated teacher, and a kind friend to so many. Our daughters have been best friends since middle school, and it has been heartbreaking to watch their family go through this.
