Support Bailey Reed's Recovery Hit & Run Accident

Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to check out this fundraiser that I have set up for a wonderful and selfless woman.

Bailey Reed has been my best friend for over 11 years now. I have attached the link to the Facebook post that Bailey just made this past Saturday, that gives details of the accident and information about the van that Champaign County Sheriff's Office is seeking to identify a suspect in this terrible hit and run accident!

Bailey was riding her horse with her dog along as well, when they were both hit and her dog was left clinging to life, but ultimately had to be euthanized due to his severe injuries.

Bailey has also been off work, unpaid, since the accident due to the damage done to her ankle.
Her ortho doctor was hoping that her ankle injuries could heal on their own in a hard cast for 6 weeks, however, they didn't.
Bailey just had surgery December 17th to repair all the damage and start her recovery.

Bailey did a great job going into detail on her post of what happened.

However, what Bailey doesn't mention or talk about is the huge strain this accident has put on her financially.
She has always been the one who is there for anyone that is in need, whenever they need something. Even at times when she doesn't have much to give, she gives her all and some! She will go without before others have to.

Bailey was a volunteer for Red Cross and would always drop whatever she was doing when she would get a call about a house or apartment fire! She had 48 to meet with the families but Bailey always went to the scene right then so she could issue them a pre-paid debit card and have money to use immediately for any items they needed after just being displaced from their home. She then also assisted in getting the families into a hotel or make other lodging arrangements.

Bailey also took pride in raising money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting the Special Olympics. She enjoyed participating in different fundraising events along side the athletes.
I have never met anyone so giving and joyous to be around!

Bailey is a strong, independent, single mother that never asks for help and that is why I am stepping up and asking for others to support her while she is on her road to recovery!

Christmas is just a few days away and her daughter's have been very understanding that their mom has been injured and off of work, but just like this accident isn't Bailey's fault, it definitely isn't her daughter's faults as well and they shouldn't have to suffer and miss out because the person who caused this accident didn't stop and has yet to be located!

I want to thank anyone for their support, thoughts and prayers!!

I know Bailey will be beyond grateful for anything!
