<div>Our precious baby Jillian has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. It took some time for doctors to correctly diagnose her, and during those crucial days, she was kept in a regular room. When her condition worsened, she was transferred to the ICU. By day one in the ICU, her health insurance had already been maxed out.

<div>Initially, comfort care was considered, but Jillian is showing us her strength. Despite the pain from the cancer and severe oral thrush, she continues to drink her milk, proving that she is a fighter. One glimmer of hope we hold onto is that the younger a child is, the better the prognosis for neuroblastoma. This is why we are fighting alongside her with everything we have.

<div>Jillian is now undergoing chemotherapy, and we are doing everything possible to help her beat this. However, the reality of the hospital system in the Philippines is that a family member must be with the patient at all times. Unlike in Western hospitals where nurses and doctors provide continuous care, Jillian's mom has had to stop working in order to be by her side 24/7.
