This sweet, young family needs your help. My dear friend's daughter Brooke unexpectedly went into labor Jan 15th at 27 weeks. She was life flighted to a hospital in Northern Utah where they were able to stop labor for only a week. The baby was born at 28 weeks weighing 2.6 lbs. It took 1.5 hours to travel to the hospital daily for the young parents.

The father, Robby, had to drive back and forth while taking care of 2 other little boys at home. The family stayed in motels on weekends but Robby's work truck broke down due to all the traveling. Brooke has not left the baby's side but is experiencing post-partum anxiety with the stress of baby's health, no insurance, and being all alone as her immediate family lives too far away to help.

The first week of February, Baby Jensen had a build-up of fluid on his brain and was flown to Primary Children's Hospital to undergo brain surgery. All went well but the parents are now 2.5 hours away from this new hospital and their newborn. Grateful for miracles, Baby Jensen is doing well but will be in the NICU until the middle of April.
