<div><strong>Baby Harper Jo Davis was born to Clayton and Paige Davis on April 21, 2025 and life has been nothing but a roller coaster ever since.</strong> Originally, Harper was diagnosed with a heart condition while still in utero and thought they were facing a heart transplant. But with many prayers, a medical miracle occurred and her heart issues resolved on their own.

<div>Despite no longer having heart issues, Harper is unable to breathe on her own and has been intubated since the day she was born. She has an obstructed airway due to an underdeveloped airway. Their only option was to place a tracheostomy in order to consider getting her home with her Mom, Dad, and big brother (Colton).

<div>Once Harper is able to come home, she will require full-time care that only her mom or dad can provide due to her tracheostomy. Mom and Dad have been completing training courses on how to care for her once she is home.

<div><strong>This means one of them will have to quit their full-time job in order to provide the care Harper needs for an unforeseen amount of time. Their insurance will only cover 3 weeks of an at home nurse. </strong>Doctors are hopeful as she continues to grow, her airway will improve, but that can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years with the tracheostomy.

<div><strong>This has already put lots of financial strain on their family and only more to come due to the mounting hospital bills on top of daily expenses with only one income now. </strong>
