Sarah is creating this fundraiser for <strong>Autumn</strong>, Sarah’s best friend, after Autumn’s fiancé was killed on impact in a tragic accident in Los Angeles. He was riding a city bus to work when an SUV crashed into the bus with such force that it became lodged inside. In a single moment, Autumn’s life was changed forever, and the scene was deeply traumatic for Autumn and everyone who loved him. The shock, grief, and heartbreak of losing someone so suddenly is impossible to put into words, and this terrible tragedy has left Autumn facing not only deep emotional pain, but an overwhelming financial strain as well. Autumn is now going from a two-income household to a one-income household after losing the primary income provider, and she is being left with very little as she tries to figure out how to move forward.

 This fundraiser is meant to help support Autumn with the ongoing expenses and financial pressure that will continue in the weeks and months ahead, including lawyer fees, unpaid time away from work without bereavement pay, relocation costs, flights back and forth since their families are not originally from Los Angeles, rent for the next few months while clearing out the home they shared, and possible debt she may now have to carry.
