Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my friend who is currently in the hospital. Many of you may have seen or heard some of what happened, and I wanted to share this page as a way to support her in a practical and loving way during a very difficult time.

She is an incredible director, artist, and friend, and so many of us have been lucky to work alongside her and share life with her. In early January, she experienced a serious mental health crisis that led to hospitalization. Thanks to the quick care and concern of friends, she is now receiving medical attention and support. These past days have been incredibly stressful and heartbreaking, but we are deeply grateful that she is alive and not facing this alone.

As she focuses on recovery, there are significant financial needs that have come up. Funds raised here will help cover ambulance and hospital costs, medical bills, and basic living expenses, including rent, during the months ahead. Our hope is to ease some of the financial pressure so Astor can focus fully on healing and getting the care she needs.
