Renee is organizing this fundraiser for Ashton Kepler and Ashton’s family after the unexpected loss of Ashton, a 17-year-old senior, in an accident last night. Ashton was an amazing kid who was always helping someone, and the people around Ashton saw a young person with a big heart, athletic at school, full of plans, and looking ahead to the future. Ashton had signed up for the Marines and should have been enjoying senior year, making memories, and preparing for the next chapter. Ashton also worked at Canal View Family Restaurant in Newark, New York, where Ashton was part of the community and known by so many. Instead, Ashton’s loved ones are facing a heartbreaking loss that no family should have to endure. 
 
 
 This fundraiser is being created to help Ashton’s family with funeral arrangements, including the casket and service, so they can focus on grieving and honoring Ashton’s life. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much during this painful time. Please keep Ashton’s family in your thoughts and help support them as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Renee is asking the community to come together for a family that now needs the same kindness Ashton so freely gave to others.
