I'm setting up this gofundme on behalf of my beautiful friend Ashlynne Spencer. As many of you know, Ashlynne recently suffered a family tragedy, with her father being placed on life support indefinitely after a near fatal heart attack. After having to stay an extended period of time out of state to be with her family, she came home to almost immediately suffer a major medical emergency. After an unanticipated emergency surgery to remove her ovary, she's on the road to recovery; however, these back to back loses, as well as other personal life events, have been financially devastating due to the prolonged time spent unable to work, and now medical bills. As an American Sign Language interpreter, there are often no safety nets related to work, as most positions we take are independent contract. Therefore, I'm asking on behalf of Ashlynne that we help pitch in during this time of need to help Ashlynne recover with peace of mind.
