Hello everyone,

I am setting up this GoFundMe for my friend Ashley Taunton, her husband Joe, and their three children.

On Saturday, July 18th, during a severe rainstorm on I-95, Ashley did what she always does: she put others before herself. Seeing someone in urgent need after a car accident, she pulled over to help. As Joe so perfectly puts it, it was just "Ashley doing Ashley things."

While she was assisting another vehicle hydroplaned and came hurtling directly toward them. In a split-second act of pure bravery, Ashley pushed the other person out of harm's way, taking the brunt of the impact herself.

Because of her selfless courage, Ashley is now facing a very long and difficult road to recovery. She has already undergone two major surgeries in the last 18 hours alone, with more scheduled in the days ahead.

How Your Support Helps

While Ashley fights to heal, we want to take the financial burden off Joe and the kids so their only focus can be on her. This fund will help the Taunton family cover:

* Daily household bills and expenses

* Gas and travel costs for commuting back and forth to the hospital.

* Meals and groceries for the kids.

* Medical expenses not covered by insurance.

A Message of Faith and Gratitude

Ashley is a woman of deep, unwavering faith who loves her Lord and Savior with all her heart. We know that God was watching over her on that highway, and we trust in His power to heal her now.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." - John 15:13

Please keep Ashley, Joe, and the kids in your prayers. If you are able to donate, any amount, no matter how small will make a massive difference for their family. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and lifting Ashley up in prayer.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
