Hey, everyone! My name is Ashley and I have been dealing with a lot of health issues, including Type 2 diabetes, neuropathy, and some type of autoimmune disease that they have not yet diagnosed.

I am also preparing to become homeless on July 15, 2025. My best friend Kohta and I are about to start a new adventure together. I am not excited, but I am trying to stay positive for both mine and Kohta’s sake! The shelters around here do not take in people with their pets, and 211 told me they wouldn’t help me find housing if I take him with me. I need help so we can stay together. I can’t just leave him behind. He has been with me through so much loss. I have had many dogs in my lifetime but had never had a soul dog until I rescued him. I cannot abandon him just because things are difficult.

Due to my health issues, I have not been able to hold down a job, and that has contributed to me becoming homeless. I ask that if you can spare anything, it would be very much appreciated. I'm dealing with all the health conditions and am worried about going out into this heat. I hope to get up enough money for a vehicle, but I would like to get Kohta UTD on his vaccines and looked over by a vet first. It's been a long, hard road, but I am determined to build a life for Kohta and myself.

I have been able to build a very supportive community around me on TikTok, which has helped me to realize that it’s ok to ask for help when you need it.
