Hi Everyone,

My name is Joy Bhan, and I am organizing this fundraiser with one of my closest friends Zal Sidhwa

We are fundraising today for one of our best friends, Arsanuos Abousetta. At the young age of 29, Arsanuos is going through an extremely difficult time.

Earlier this year, Arsanuos tragically lost his loving mother after a decades-long battle with cancer. During this time, he stood firm by her side, never letting her feel alone and supporting her and his father through all the difficulty. He sacrificed much of his personal life and development but always had a smile on his face and lit up whatever room he walked into with positivity and happiness.

No matter what life dealt him, Arsanuos faced it happily and stood by his mother through her struggle, even as it cost him his job and his relationships. He never let those around him know of his personal struggle or turmoil, always prioritizing those he loves first.

In a stroke of cruel fate, Arsanuos' father has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, mere months removed from the unfortunate passing of his mother. His care is starting immediately, and his friends and family are here with him every step of the way.

In these unprecedented and unpredictable economic times, Arsanuos has been clobbered with uncertainty and fear of the unknown. Having already lost his mother and being faced with the grim possibility of losing his father, it is taking a toll on him that we want nobody to go through.

So today, we request help and support to raise money for hospital funds and medical bills that Arsanuos and his family will have to bear now and into the future. He is more than a friend to us; he is our brother, and he has been braver than any of us can imagine. Anything will help, and donations and words of support are incredibly appreciated. Thank you.
