My beautiful friend, April, is facing one of the hardest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called Epithelioid Trophoblastic Tumor (ETT). There are about 100 cases of this cancer known worldwide, making treatment and prognosis very hard to determine. April has recently started chemotherapy after recovering from a very complex and dangerous surgery to remove the tumor. Despite the odds, April has shown nothing but strength, humor, and determination. She is a loving mother of three, a fiercely loyal friend, and the kind of person who always gives to others without ever asking for anything in return.
Now, she needs our help. April and her family live in Tuscumbia, Alabama. However, she is receiving treatment at UAB, which means a 4-hour round trip at least once a week. April needs all the help she can get to take care of travel expenses to and from UAB and anything that would help her only focus on healing and getting her back to the beautiful, funny, and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend she has been to us all. We love her dearly and want to make this time as easy as possible and be as helpful as we can. Let’s all be the hands and feet of God himself.
Medical bills, treatment costs, and the travel required for her care have become overwhelming. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward supporting April and giving her the chance to focus on healing and being with her children.
A message from April:
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation. I could not have made it this far without my friends and family. Every penny counts and is so deeply appreciated.
This has been tough and scary, but we all face hard and scary moments. Many have suffered before me and many will after me. It’s only when people like you lend a hand, offer a donation, give a hug, anything - that helps and eases the suffering. I love you all. Be praying for me, my sons, my family, and my friends.
