We have created this GoFundMe on behalf of our good friend and community member, Anto. Anto is one of the most talented and compassionate people we know—a gifted tattoo artist who has poured her heart and soul into her work, leaving lasting marks on those she’s touched, not just through her art, but through her kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit. Now, she’s facing one of the toughest battles of her life, and she needs our help.

Anto needed to recover from health complications, so she made the difficult decision to go to Colombia to be with family and seek treatment. This forced her to rehome one dog and foster her other dog, which added more emotional and financial stress. She was forced to close her tattoo shop, her life’s passion. When Anto arrived in Colombia, almost immediately her mother was hospitalized. Her mother is also her elderly grandmother's caretaker, so now what was meant to be a time for rest, healing, and recovery has turned into a situation where she must step up to take care of both her family members. This means she’s remaining in Colombia longer and out of work.

Anto has taken blow after blow this year and struggled almost completely in silence. We are good friends of hers but had no idea that most of this was happening. She always fights her battles in silence, but now she has reached her limit. Even though she was initially resistant, after hearing everything she was going through, we encouraged her to reach out to her community. No one should have to struggle like this alone.

Your kindness and generosity will help Anto find the strength she needs to get through this dark time and return to doing what she loves most—bringing beauty into the world.

We are hoping to help give Anto the chance to heal, without the heavy burden of worrying about making ends meet, and dealing with these many unexpected and challenging situations. She has exhausted her savings on medical expenses and surviving in a different country for two-plus months.
