My name is Antionette, I am 43 years old, and I’m raising funds to help cover the overwhelming medical bills and daily living costs that have come with my battle against myxofibrosarcoma. I was first diagnosed with this rare cancer in my right foot on 5/25/22. Since then, I’ve undergone radiation and three surgeries on my foot, but it still hasn’t fully healed. In July 2024, the cancer returned in my right leg. Over the past year, I have had two surgeries on my leg, and it is still not healed—my bone is even visible. This journey has completely changed my life. I started chemotherapy, but had to stop because it made my leg worse, leading to yet another surgery. The constant treatments and setbacks have made it difficult to work and manage daily responsibilities, and the financial strain is growing every day.

Through all of this, my best friend has been my only support. She’s been by my side since day one and was the reason I went to the doctor and discovered my diagnosis. I don’t have family to lean on, so her presence has meant everything to me. My hope is for the cancer to go away for good, but my doctors are concerned it could spread to my chest because it returned so quickly. I just want to move around better and live without constant pain. Any support will help me cover my medical bills and basic needs while I focus on healing and regaining my independence.
