<div>Annakate has been getting blood transfusions since birth. This is something that they thought she would grow out of, but she never did. She has been diagnosed with severe Hereditary Spherocytosis. She has been in many studies and her chance at a normal life is her receiving a bone marrow transplant, which she received on 3/20/25 from her donor and big brother Owen Lores. Annakate has been undergoing Chemo to be able to receive the bone marrow.

<div>Annakate and her family are under the care of Children's Hospital of Atlanta and The Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta, GA, where she will continue treatments and monitoring for her condition. We are creating this GoFundMe for hospital bills, travel expenses, and misc. items that are needed for their long term stay in Atlanta. Any little bit helps and we are more than grateful for any donations.
