<div>On May 18th at 5:45 pm, what was supposed to be a fun outing for Katarina's birthday turned into a nightmare due to a devastating accident that changed the lives of sisters Angelina Bartz (21) and Katarina Bartz (19) and their friend.  They suffered severe injuries from the impact, and the heartbreaking loss of Katarina’s close friend, Olivia Flores.

<div>Angelina has sustained a fractured rib, traumatic brain injury, bruised liver, lacerated kidney, sprained wrist and finger, whiplash, and extensive bruising.

<div>Katarina's injuries include a shattered pelvis requiring surgery, a fractured rib, traumatic brain injury, and severe bruising.

<div>Angelina and Katarina need not only physical healing but also extensive mental and emotional support. The funds we are asking for will also go towards necessary therapy and strategies to help them cope with this horrible event. The physical pain they are enduring is immense, and the emotional trauma of losing Olivia has left deep scars on both of them, their family, and their community.

<div>Katarina and Olivia shared a special bond, both as friends and as cheerleaders in high school. The loss of Olivia is profoundly felt, and honoring her memory will be a part of their healing journey.

<div>The road to recovery for Angelina and Katarina will be long and arduous. There are piling medical bills, along with being unable to work during their healing process, leading to significant financial strain. For now they will be staying with their family, Miranda and Matt Grieger and their younger siblings.  We hope to help them and their family by raising funds to help cover their medical expenses, living costs during recovery, and any additional expenses that may arise. A goal is set but it is unknown the total costs from this tragedy that they face...so any amount will help them and be greatly appreciated.
