<div>We will soon be entering our slowest season. As many of you know, small businesses in Oakland are struggling. In particular the restaurant industry is having a difficult stretch. We watch with concern and deep sympathy as more and more of our friends and colleagues pack up shop. We know it's only thanks to the continued support of our loyal customers and community that we are hanging on for another season.
