Angela Beaver has been a dedicated bus driver in the Yancey County school system for 31 years, touching the lives of countless students and families with her kindness and commitment. As a close friend, I have seen firsthand the positive impact Angela has had on our community, always going above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of those in her care.

 Recently, Angela was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver, a condition that has deeply affected her health and daily life. She now faces the daunting journey of a liver transplant at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. This life-saving procedure comes with significant challenges, including overwhelming medical bills and the need to travel far from home for treatment and recovery.
