Hi friends and family,
As we mentioned in our last post our dad had moved to Mexico to possibly receive a liver transplant. It's been a hard and long journey. Many setbacks on the way and most of all it's been extremely hard to be apart in these tough times. We couldn't be any happier to announce on Monday 5/14/2018 we finally received a call informing us a liver was available. My dad went into surgery and had a very complicated and extended procedure due to his condition. The surgery lasted 16 hrs, with those long hrs under we've had a couple complications that have required him to stay in intensive care unit longer than expected. Currently they are treating some kidney problems and are hopeful he will recover will no long term kidney failure. With that being said as we mentioned in our last post he had to get this procedure in Mexico and we are covering all financial cost. Due to an already complicated procedure and now this complications the amount that was set has increased significantly. We are asking for any help you could help us with anything helps. I want thank you all for taking the time to read this and for those who have already helped and have kept him on your prayers

Como mencionamos en nuestro ultimo mensaje nuestro papa se movio para Mexico para possiblemente qualificar para un transplante de higado. An sido unos largos y dificiles meses especialmente no poder estar a su lado estando tan enfermo. Estamos muy contentos de decirles que la espera termino este Martes 5/14/2018 recibimos la llamada de que el higado estaba listo para mi papa. Fue una cirugia muy larga y complicada. Fueron 16 horas que el estuvo en el quirofano por lo grabe que su enfermedad. Desafortunadamente eso causo unas complicaciones y lo estan tratando. Como mencionamos la ultina ves nosotros estamos cubriendo los gaston porque el no tiene ningun tipo de aseguranza medica. La cantidad que se esperaba subio mucho y les estamos pidiendo ayuda a todos. As some of you may or may not know my dad is really sick. These last couple of months he spend most of the time in and out of the hospital. It got to a point where his doctors just referred him to hospice and told him his only chance at surviving would be getting a liver transplant. Here in the U.S his doctors wouldn't place him on the list and would tell him he would have to wait possibly years time he doesnt have. Aside of that his insurance company gave us many problems on even approving him being added on the list due to his legal status. We made the decision of having him try in Mexico, his been there for over a month now.He currently is on a urgent transplant list we are reaching out to our family and friends for help for his medical expenses due to us having to pay for the procedure, test, and medications. I want to thank all my family and friends for alI the support we have and continue to receive. We are truly blessed to have people like you in our lives God bless you all and thank you very much.
